Mother and Child Reunion : February 28, 2009

Mother and Child were reunited today for the first time since Baby Rhonda’s sudden emergence into this world a week ago!

Mother and Child together Feb 28 2009

So helpless.......

Mommy was so overcome with emotion, they figured they better get these two together NOW!So close and yet...

So close and yet...

She’s been texting me daily, it’s getting real hard for her to be home alone without her baby girl. She counts the hours until Daddy gets home from work so they can go to the hospital. Nothing can prepare you for moments like these, I am in tears as I type…….
so tiny and helpless, they have covered her eyes against the harsh institution’s lights, which seem so normal to us…

Oh she is so tiny and precious.
I am so happy they are together with baby Rhonda, I know it’s been hard to be away from her.

I wish them all much happiness & gentle hug for baby.

Oh my goodness, I totally missed all of this! I am so happy for you grandma and I can totally relate to this as well. Baby Rhonda looks so precious and actually remarkably chunky for weighing so little. She and her mommy will get my prayers EVERY DAY from now on.

I can only imagine her angst, Sandra. She is so precious. What is the open wound under the baby’s left arm? Poor mommy and daddy. Poor Rhonda. I hate that they cannot be together all of the time. Soon. Soon…

No open wounds, just a tape holding some sort of heart monitor device.
